During the Autumn we were approached by the owner of www.more-to.org, Sarah Maliphant, about the possibility of reviewing a weekend break in the Welsh Mountains. You may recognise Sarah,s name as she is one of our Guest Bloggers! The break is designed for busy and dare I say it, middle-aged people with some disposable income. Currently the breaks are not necessarily directly marketed at parents – but this may change in the future – after all, parents are allowed a break and the opportunity to get of the tread-mill of life as well sometimes. Plus, some of us are lucky enough to have Grandparents who are willing to babysit. Castle Farm is nestled on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park – 20 mins from Hay-on-Wye. We have split the review into two. One from Mr PT’s perspective and one from my perspective. The first review can be found below and mine will appear in a few weeks.

Rain, Rain….Go Away!
Koolsun is a website which sells everything you need during the Summer months….and more. Under the ‘and more’ comes the category of ‘Raincoats’ which some would argue are essential during the summer months in the UK. For some time I have been perusing their website, full of colour and life so when I was asked to review their new raincoat I jumped at the chance, particularly as it’s been designed by them. I love products which are not worn by every Tom, Dick and Harry (although my Harry is OK of course!). This coat was designed by Rachel, the owner. Rachel wanted something which was bright and colourful – a theme I feel runs through most of their products.
Introducing Sarah Maliphant - It’s all about you, not just the children!
I’d like to introduce you to Sarah Maliphant - as the weeks go by you will learn more about Sarah and what she does. I had the pleasure of spending a weekend in Wales with Sarah and a small group of people shortly before Christmas and decided to invite her to regularly post on my blog. You will find out more about our few days in Wales soon (watch this space…I don’t want to give too much away!). Sarah is a ‘life coach’…..a what? I hear you cry (I was the same!). In a nutshell, she makes you ‘think’ in a non-pressurised way (my description!). Over to Sarah for initial introductions…welcome to Pushchair Trader Sarah!
Coming soon - Panel of Experts - well, guest bloggers!
Over the coming weeks, I am going to start introducing you to my ‘Panel of Experts’. They are all people who I have actually met and I respect what they do. They are not here to dictate and tell you how to ‘do things’. The idea behind it is to get you thinking - whether it’s something to do with your children, or something to do with you - either as a parent…or just another human being! Food for thought as they say and a little bit of healthy discussion! At the end of the day - YOU are the expert on your children and you make decisions about what is right and wrong for you, your family and your situation.
