Hello
my name is Rachel and I live in Leeds with my husband and 3 children. I have 2
boys aged 4 and 2 years old and a girl aged 14 weeks. In the distant past I was
a qualified nurse, I am now a full time mum and part time university student.
As a family we have a love of exploring and walks, although the boys would
rather go to a soft play area everyday if they had the choice. We enjoy
running and keeping fit, the children join us in a "jogging pram"
when we go out on a weekend.

First Impressions:
We then put it in the boot of the car to check how it fitted, slightly longer than some I have owned in the past but fitted with space left over. Tomorrow will be our first walk to nursery to pick up my eldest son, I look forward to seeing the looks and hearing any comments about it.

So this week has been mixed weather so far, today we had thunder storms....a great way to test out the rain cover.
We walked down to
nursery to collect my eldest son and despite it being warm it was
raining heavily. The rain cover is good, it covers the majority of the
pram and so the two little ones were nice and dry. It was easy to attach
without instructions and fitted well.
In the few days using the
pram I have noticed that it is a bit heavier than a previous double
pram I had a couple of years ago and it is a little bit of a struggle to
get it into the car boot. My other observation is that the central back
wheel on the pram (there are 3) is inline with where my feet are when
walking which means I have to push the pram at arms length in order to
prevent my feet hitting the wheel all the time.
Never the less, the kids are comfy and my daughter who is 4 months loves the inside of the hood and can't stop staring at it!

Week three of using the pram. We have been to nursery and back everyday
to collect my eldest son, the weather has been glorious....really hot.
The hoods on the pram are great, really big and fully cover my little
one which is great when the sun is hot, she doesn't like the brightness
either and tends to get a bit cross if the sun is in her eyes. I can see
her through the little window in the back of the hood without having to
stop every two minutes. My youngest son enjoyed the hood too although
he likes to see everything so he didn't have it pulled down too much.
The
pram copes well over the cobbled pavements but is quite heavy to get up
curbs. My eldest son enjoys helping me push the extra handle as we
walk, it makes him feel like he is helping.

We haven't really been out and about this week due to being busy at home, however we did go shopping! I always take the pram because a 2 year old running around and touching in addition to the 4 year old is quite stressful. My son has happily taken to his new ride and frequently requests that we "sit in pram", so getting him to get in it to go shopping was a doddle.
This week was very exciting for all of Yorkshire, Le Tour de France came
to visit. For us this meant that we had to watch it go past!

Another glorious week for the sun in Yorkshire, the hoods on the pram
have really been useful. My 2 year old has started to pull his down when
the sun gets in his eyes, my daughter is fully covered by the hood when
it is pulled over her and is in constant shade which is great.
I
haven't tested the multimedia pocket yet due to little fingers moving
my iPod somewhere where I can't find it! The pocket does come in handy
for carrying my purse and keys and even a book for my son to look at
while we are walking. I need to connect up myiPad and see how it works,
that is the task for this week.

This week we made the most of the sun and visited one of our local
favourite places. The pram managed well despite some tricky areas and a
few steps. The paths were well organised so that the pram went over the
bridges and walk ways very easily, the width of the pram was fine and
didn't cause a problem.
With the help of a strong husband we managed to navigate the stairs, although not light weight, we managed to lift it over the areas we couldn't manage.

We had a few short walks this week, down to nursery to collect my eldest boy mainly. Sadly it was his last week and will start "big school" in September. He had a Teddy bears picnic and played games and had some face painting done. We got lots of comments from the other mums about how lovely and colourful the pram was.
We also had a nice meal out in a cafe near to where we live, the pram fitted easily through the narrow access and in between the tables with no problems. I have also tested out the cup holder (which I have been meaning to do for ages but never get the chance!). It was lovely to enjoy a coffee whilst walking.

This week has already been one of emotion and I have a feeling that the tears will last for a few more weeks. My youngest son started a few mornings at nursery. At first he happily skipped in there with his big bro, as he has many times before when we have been to collect his brother, then came the realisation that we couldn't stay with him. What a terrible feeling for him and for me, even though I have already been through this once before it was still as hard. It was very strange pushing the pram down to nursery without my little talkative boy sitting in it.

We had a pretty exciting walk today. A walk through the woods, keeping an eye out for The Gruffalo of course and finding this amazing memorial folly. The paths were easy to travel on so pushing the pram was no problem at all.
On the way back we bumped into a team of firemen and were a little bit cheeky and invaded their fire engine. A lovely day all round.

Lots of changes in the house this week, one big boy at nursery and the biggest boy started school. Lots of emotions for us and the boys to deal with and getting used to a quieter house for me is a bit strange and may take some time! While we were waiting to collect my eldest son we ran a few errands....we always go green where possible and use the pram basket instead of carrier bags.
It seems strange having the pram
empty on the way down to nursery, I miss my little talkative toddler. It
is still tricky getting the pram up curbs, even with only one child in
it.

This week we haven't used our pram very much, we are currently in the
process of some significant home improvements which means we have been
tied to the house, organising and directing workmen. The poor pram has
been crammed in the garage with lots of tools and equipment....dreading
the time when we have to sort out the garage! Yesterday we took
advantage of Daddy being at home and the sunshine being out and went for
a lovely woodland walk, my 2 and a half year old is now becoming very
independent and wants to walk most of the time but it's still handy to
have the double pram when he becomes tired. My 7 month old still loves
sitting in it and staring at the colours, it never ceases to amaze her.
We get loads of looks and comments as we walk.

October the 28th 2014
This week is half term for us and we took the opportunity to visit family in Bath, we had a lovely weekend with really mild weather and this glorious weather seems to have followed us home.
We have had a
few walks and collected various autumnal items, we walk through a wooded
area to collect my youngest son from nursery and I seem to have
acquired a pocket full of pine cones....I'm not sure that the multimedia
pocket is meant for that purpose!

I'm finding it a bit tricky at the
moment to push the pram through the masses of leaves that have fallen
from the trees but my sons love to kick through them as we walk.
It was an exciting week for our house, after 11 months we finally had the scaffolding taken down. This of course meant some major garden tidying had to be undertaken so my youngest joined me. She sat in the pram with the cosytoes back on and watched my efforts and then when it all became too much she had a nap. The back of this pram adjusts with minimal effort and disruption to a sleeping baby and is great. The cosytoes are nice and thick, shower proof on the outside and fleece lined internally. She was very comfortable while I was busy.

Final Summary 2014
The double Cosatto Supa Dupa in my opinion is an
average pram. First impressions of the pram are good, the pattern is
amazing, it comes equipped with very thick shower resistant cosy toes, a
rain cover and drinks holder and these are included in the box. On
using the pram I thought that the handles felt flimsy and wiggled
around, they didn't feel like they were secured on properly. On a few
occasions I struggled to get the brakes to stay on and I always thought
that it was difficult to tip back to get it up the curbs on pavements. I
thought that it was heavier than other prams that I have had in the
past. However, the pram has comfortable seats for the kids, a secure
harness and headrest for younger babies. The seats reclined easily and
the front edge of the seat adjusts for older children to allow them to
rest their feet on the bar underneath. The size of the hoods are
fantastic, brilliant in providing shade on hot days and to protect the
children from the elements in winter. The pram is a nice slim size for a
side by side seating arrangement and I managed to fit it into most
places that I visited, even when shopping!
I would rate this pram 3/5
Pros
Slim width
Included in the cost extras, cosy toes etc
The fabulous pattern and colour
Cons
Difficult to lift over curbs
Brakes not always easy to apply
Rain cover not amazing quality (tore slightly at the seam after the second use)
