My name is Maria and I am married to Edward, between us we have two children. We have a nearly three year old boy who loves playing with his cars and trains and being creative with play dough and crayons. We also have Zoe-May who is seven months and has a very nosey and a cheeky personality coming through, spending much of her time trying to find out what everyone else is doing.
As a family we like the outdoors and spend many fine weather days walking along the beach or countryside around east sussex. We also like indoor time playing with books and toys that make as much noise as possible.

First Impressions
We have just received our new sleep pod, I am very surprised by the size of the product in its packaging, it is a lot smaller then I had expected which makes me very happy. Kids have enough stuff and storage in and on the buggy is always of a premium so the sleep pod will be easily storable either in the change bag or under buggy storage when not in use..jpg)

Family weekend out and about.
As we headed out for a family weekend I was very pleased to find just how small the sleep pod would fold up into the buggy basket. I was also very pleased to see that, once I got it out to use, it didn't look all creased and so looked pretty smart on the buggy. Once Zoe-May had fallen asleep, it was very easy to fit and I managed it without waking her, another very positive thing with a light sleeping baby.
My favourite find out the weekend.... The sleep pod easily fits over our Jane matrix2 car seat! Zoe-May fell asleep in the car after a visit to the beach and on the way to eat with family. As I went to get her seat out the far we realised it was pretty windy, which would normally lead to Zoe-May waking up as soon as the wind hit her, but, I put the sleep pod onto the car seat before I took it out of the car and therefore the little one stayed asleep. It was quite bright and sunny out and it was nice to see that the air was circulating as the material moved around and Zoe-May seemed very comfortable in her pod. She managed to sleep for quite a while and it was easy to check on her just by lifting the blackout flap very slightly, it didn't seem to disturb her and meant I could check on her regularly.
Another plus... Lots of people stopped me to ask where I had got the pod from as it seemed ideal for not only helping baby to sleep, but also protecting her from the wind and also keeping the sun off of her.
Another very successful use of the pod for our family.

Another great week with the Sleep Pod, We have now tested out on our
Silver Cross Pod and found that it is very easy to fit and stays on
well.
We haven't used the Pop much as we have preferred the big snuggly buggy
for the winter weather. Now the summer has arrived!! we have made more
use of the Pop for short trips.
Zoe-May still seems intrigued by the material and will sit inside the
pod and just rub her hand on the material which seems to calm her and
keep her interest until she falls asleep, another great plus for us.
With the lighter evenings, the sleep pod has been great. Zoe is collected from nursery sometimes at about 5.30 and as she likes to be in bed by 6, can sometimes been a bit of a grouch. The sleep pod has really helped with this. We can put her in the buggy with her blanket and put the sleep pod on and she will happily go fast to sleep in the buggy on the way home. She will then sleep in her buggy for a few hours and when she wakes for a feed, will change into her PJs and go into bed then. It has helped to keep her a lot happier the last few weeks.
Also, we have found that the wind/sun shield layer has been great. It has been warm and sunny but also quite windy here and so having the option of stopping some of the wind but also allowing her to see out has been great.
The sleep pod washes well too, as we discovered after Zoe had a bit of an accident after a bottle of milk!!May the 19th 2013
Off to the farm this weekend with lots of the family, how will I stop zoe-may getting over tired and super grumpy... Bring out the sleep pod. Even with the noise of other kids and animals etc, when the pod goes on and it goes dark in the buggy, zoe fussed for a few minutes and then went straight to sleep. This really was a god send as it gave us some time to focus fully on my two year old step son. And when zoe woke up, we even found that Evan would accept a go in the buggy with the sleep pod, something he hasn't done for about 8 months and he had a sleep to. Both of them having a sleep meant for a great day with a happy ending instead of finishing the day with over tired tearful kids.May the 24th 2013
Last week we moved house and have once again found the sleep pod invaluable. During the day's leading up to the move Zoe-May could obviously tell something different was happening with everything being boxed up etc. She stopped sleeping well in her room as she was able to see the boxes etc and would not settle well with the change. At the end of one very long day of no naps I tried out getting Zoe to sleep in her pram, she's a bit big now but it meant I could use the sleep pod with it and she then couldn't see the boxes etc and it worked treat. After a few minutes of tears she happily went to sleep and we just transferred her to her proper cot after a couple of hours and she was fine. I also used the long elastic straps of the pod to attach it to the side of the cot so that she couldn't look between the bars and see the mountain of packing going on. Still finding so many ways that the sleep pod comes in handy.June the 9th 2013
Another great sunny weekend and another use found for the sleep pod! As the kids now have a garden to play in we hadn't thought much about how to provide the kids with some shade... The sleep pod did just the job. we attached it to the back of two garden chairs and put them either side of the play mat on the garden in a small sort of tent formation and the kids loved playing out and we loved knowing they were safely in the shade. The sleep pod is proving to be even more versatile then I would have ever imagined.
