Hi I'm Laura, I live in Essex with my husband Andrew, and our 2 beautiful children, our Daughter Maddison, she was born in April, and our 2 year old Son Alfie.
We love to spend family time exploring. We are an all weather family. Doesn't
matter if its rain, snow or sleet, we like to wrap up warm be out in it.
I'm currently on Maternity leave. Due back to work in April. Life is hectic. Hubby works shifts so me and the kiddies are home alone
different times of different days, so a routine is hard during the day. We tend
not to plan too far ahead and more live week to week when it comes to
activities. The great British weather is so unpredictable anyway :)
We are looking forward to putting the Giggle through its paces

First Impressions
************************************
Today a trip to the shops was in order. Maddison was very tired, so
thought the fresh air and a pushchair ride might do the trick to get her
to sleep.
I popped up the frame and decided to use the carrycot.
Snuggled her in, she must have been comfy, she fell asleep before we
even left the house.
With the hood up and the cover zipped she
was sheltered from the winds and didnt seem to notice the change in
temperature from being in the house,
It was a smooth journey and
she remained asleep for a further 30 minutes after we returned home :)
So far, we are very impressed and looking forward to our next trip out.
20th November 2012
It's a big day today as it's my birthday. Hubby arranged a surprise family trip to the local outdoor discovery centre.
I
wondered how the Giggle would cope with the terrain. Turns out I had
nothing to worry about. The wide wheels meant it wasn't easily bogged
down. With the hood up, her knitted blanket and the cover zipped up, Maddison was kept warm and enjoyed the ride.
The quick release wheels meant they could be removed before putting the pushchair back in the boot, so not to dirty the car. Always a plus!
A good time was had by all :D
22nd November 2012
I needed some shopping essentials, so today we tackled the supermarket.
Today I used the pushchair seat unit. This meant little girl could see what was going on and it would hopefully keep her amused while I picked up everything I needed.
The basket under the pushchair is rather small
so it was lucky I only needed a few bits. 1 shopping bag - 4pints of
milk, a loaf of bread, sandwich filler and a bottle of squash was about
its limit.
27th November 2012
We went for a walk for some fresh air while the weather was dry enough.
I've
never been stopped before for people to ask about my pushchair. However
today I was stopped twice. It was nice. I love that the Giggle
Golightly is so stylish. The big red bow and red buttons on the hoods, Cosi-toes and changing bag are so pretty. It's definitely a girly
pushchair.
5th December 2012
To my surprise the pushchair fits length ways in our boot, thanks to its
adjustable handle it means we can have it width ways or length ways
depending on what else is in the boot. We have got a long car, next time
we are out, I'll make sure we pop the pushchair in width ways so we can
compare.
December the 12th 2012
So today is a special date, so it seemed apt to mention the 'Special Edition' logo on the box.
I
thought all Giggles were special, it wasn't until I was checking out the
Cosatto website that I realised it was only the Golightly in this
model. An extra reason to make me smile whilst pushing this beautiful
pushchair. :D
December the 13th 2012
Included in the package is a matching Changing bag.
Within the bag
is a handy travel changing mat and clear zipped bag. I use this for
soiled clothes. I guarantee if we are going to have an explosion it will
always be when we are out and about. Keeps everything else clean and smell free.
The
strap is a bright red to match the bow. The back of the changing mat is
covered to match the lining of the bag-black with white spots.
December the 24th 2012
Well its Christmas Eve, and I can safely say we are ready for Christmas.
Its been no easy task buying for 2 little ones this year. I have to say
though the Cosatto Giggle has made it easier. Its so easy to manoeuvre through the busy shops, its light frame and 3 wheels has allowed me to nip into spaces in the crowds.
So today is New Years day. As the weather was dry, we decided to take a walk down Flitch Way with some friends.
It gave our son and his friend the chance to try out their Christmas presents - They both got their 1st Bikes.
Maddison
enjoyed the fresh air so much she fell asleep. So I used the recline
feature on the Giggle. It meant she could enjoy her sleep laying flat.
It is really easy to recline. Push and hold the large button each side of the seat and then tilt until in place. She looked so warm and cosy (and her new coat matches the Red bows)
January the 2nd 2013
To apply the break on this pushchair is super easy and all shoe
friendly. Even if you aren't looking at the pedal. Just aim your foot to
the center of the bar between the rear wheels and tap forward with your
toes. It applies the break. Tap again (on the area nearest to you) to
release it.
It's so easy, our 2 year old son has mastered it (little monkey applies it whilst we are walking if I'm not paying attention)
January the 10th 2013
How cute are these, even the chest pads are coordinated. The Brand on
one and the 3 circle decoration on the other represent the button detail
on the bows.
They look fab against the bright red straps.
Apparently we are due to have snow next week, looking forward to testing the Giggle in the snow.
January the 12th 2013
Boo, I see you Mummy......
Maddison all cosy in her car seat, ready for our car trip to Nana and Grandad's.
Its so easy to put her in, carry around and load in the car. She is getting so big now my only struggle is carrying her in it :)
Standard
fitting - The lap part of the car seatbelt should be placed across the
legs inserted into the plastic hooks. The chest part of the strap should
be placed around the back of the seat. Again slipped into the clip on
the back of the seat then secured.
January the 18th 2013
We continue to use the Giggle, went out this morning for a stroll. Its still looking as good as new. The wear and tear of use isn't showing yet. Long may it last :)
Well its been snowing this afternoon... I was hoping it was going to be enough to get the Giggle snow covered.
Unfortunately
we have had very little. Im not sure who is more disappointed my little
boy as he cant build a snowman. Or me because theres not enough to test
the Giggle in it.
We are supposed to be getting more later this
weekend, so fingers crossed for a fair amount and I can show you some
pictures having some snow fun.
January the 20th 2013
Yay, it has been snowing. There is about 2 inches of snow out, so we
decided to get the pushchair out and see how it handles in the white
stuff.
As you can see from the picture, it left its mark in the
snow. It was a little hard to push, but that is to be expected. It was
certainly easier to push than other pushchairs I have used. I think
mainly due to the light frame and the wide wheels. My main trouble was
the direction. Due to only 1 wheel at the front, the pushchair had a
mind of its own on the fresh untouched snow and continually the wheel
would go sideways. So I was struggling. The trodden snow was fine-no
problems on that front.
We didnt go out for long as it was
soooooo cold. Maddison was kept nice and warm, me on the otherhand-not
so much :/ But glad I had chance to use the pushchair in the snow
January the 21st 2013
Today I wanted to pop to the local shop, (to get a couple of
essentials) I thought I would just put the car seat on the wheels. I
dont do this very often. So thought I would take the opportunity as it
was only a short trip.
The travel system comes with adapters to put on the frame, then place the car seat on the top. So quick and easy to do.
Picture 1 shows the adapters, they basically shrink the frame so the car seat sits securely. Then the car seat sits on the top.
Although we dont use the car seat on the frame very often I do like using it. As my baby sits nice and high.
January the 29th 2013
The giggle is so easy to put up.
The frame opens by undoing one
clip. Thats it. Easier than any other pushchair I've had. You then just
need to pull the handle up (with the wheels on the floor) until it
clicks into place.
This week we ventured out to Marsh Farm as a family treat.
As I'm
sure you can imagine, with the weather we have been having it was no
easy task taking a pushchair through snow covered/rain soaked mud and
grass.
It sure was hard work, the front wheel kept getting stuck
and then turning sideways, so I found it easier to push her on the
uneven grass with the front wheel lifted. We made it all the way round
the farm. The children had a lovely time.
I was also surprised to
see how clean the Giggle had remained. Only the wheels were dirty. So
no cleaning of the fabric required (sighs with relief).
February the 18th 2013
Today we went to the park.
The sun was shining so I kept the hood up to stop the sun getting
in Maddisons eyes. The hood is nice and large and keeps her well
sheltered from all weathers.
February the 25th 2013
A trip to the shoe shop today. My big brother needed some new shoes. The lady in the shop said how lovely my pushchair was. Nice and bright. It made me smile. Happy days. Love Maddison :D
February the 26th 2013
Popped into town today. We put the changing bag over the handle bar. To hang the bag over the bar you have to have the strap at almost its longest. That then causes a bit of an issue applying the break. As you kick the bag trying to get to it. Or you have to apply standing side on :(
February the 28th 2013
Its such a hard life....
Today we did a little shopping to buy Mothers Day gifts. Maddison was so
warm and snuggly that she fell asleep. She looks so cosy.
We popped to our local DIY and Garden center today. I wanted to buy some flowers to cheer up the garden after a long winter.
Doesnt the Giggle look beautiful in the bright sunshine.
I love this time of year and cant wait for long warm walks.
March the 15th 2013
I love the detail that has gone into the design of this travel system. Even the zip on the changing bag has had a lot of thought put in.
Its made of a rubber like material.
So unlike some that have a fabric material it doesn't fray.
March the 16th 2013
Nappy bag all packed for a long day out. Visiting friends for a play
date at an indoor soft play area and an evening with them too.
The nappy bag is full. But comfortably fits the days requirement:- change
of clothes, nappy changing bits, snacks, bottles and milk powder, drink
bottle and comforter.
It just about closes :) I liked to be prepared for all eventualities.
March the 22nd 2013
Bump bars - I've always been confused with them. Don't really understand why pushchairs have them. The Giggle also has them. As you can see from my pictures I don't use them. Perhaps once she is world facing rather than parent facing I may use them so that I can attach things to occupy her. But she is so interested in taking in her surroundings I'm not sure she would even play with anything. Perhaps a snack bar would be a good addition in its place! :)
March the 26th 2013
At 11 months my little girl still fits in her first car seat. Since research now says to leave children in rear facing car seats I'm happy
for her to be in it as long as she fits.
She also still seems content. For the time being at least :)
March the 28th 2013
Can't believe we are approaching the end of March already. Which means we are 4 months into our 'Living with' review!
So far we have had a cold, wet and snowy winter and its now early spring. I hope I'm right in saying that the weather seems to be warmer the last couple of days. So perhaps we are finally getting close to summer. I'm back to work next month, but Easter first so hopefully some family days out with the Giggle before then.
Well we have been using the Giggle for about 5months now. The wheels look great. Almost like new. I guess thats one of the main advantages to not having tyres with inner tubes. That and not having to worry about punctures :)
April the 7th 2013
I had a request on our Livingwith post page asking if the Giggle was suitable for older children.
My almost 3year old son is pictured here in the Giggle. He wasnt
impressed being in there as you can see. Only because "its for girls"
his words :) also he doesnt use a pushchair anymore. But if he did i
would say the pushchair is a little short in leg length for his height
now. This is the only negative. It is still easy to push.
April the 12th 2013
Today my Big Brother took me shopping. :)
All mums know how important it is to involve older siblings in daily tasks. Ilove how the handle adjusts to 3 different height settings. It means we can all push Maddison. My son uses the lowest setting (with a bit of steering help) I use the middle setting and my husband uses the highest setting. Perfect for the whole family.
April the 13th 2013
The foam handle is nice and soft. I find that juggling a 3year old who loves to walk. I have to keep hold
of his hand. So this limits me pushing the pushchair one handed. It puts
a lot pressure on my hand when steering. But the nice thick foam means
it's not too harsh.
April the 15th 2013
Handy little pockets. On the back of the seat unit there are 2 mesh pockets. Handy when you have the seat world facing as you can put bits of shopping in there. I use them when I have bought things like cards that I dont want to put in the basket underneath and risk them getting squashed. :)
April the 17th 2013
Today we popped out to meet a friend for coffee. Maddison was
tired, but too interested in what we were doing and talking about to
sleep, so she was kept occupied with the drinks menu on the table.
I
love the different seating positions, it means that no matter how she is
feeling there is a comfortable position for her to be in. Although she
will be 1 tomorrow, :/ (Eeekkk, where has that time gone!) I still like
to have her parent facing, as the interaction is important to me and her
too :)
April the 19th 2013
Today we shared a very special day. Our very good friends Wedding day. It was a beautiful day. The pushchair was perfect. It was a long day and during the photos Maddison became very tired. So Andy (My Hubby and Father to both children) took her for a walk to settle her. Alfie helped. I love this photo, they all seem to be enjoying the surroundings.
April the 22nd 2013
Proof that the Giggle, Go Lightly is so comfy, you can sleep anywhere. This photo is taken during the Wedding Breakfast.
Maddison
is not bothered by the events taking place around her. She is so
snuggled with her comforter. She remained in this exact position for 90
minutes. No wriggling to remain comfy. :)
April the 28th 2013
A trip to the fish shop this afternoon. She was front facing with the seat unit up straight so that she could see the all tanks and the pretty fish.
We were approached by a lady who commented how beautiful our pushchair was and asked what Brand it was. Love it when that happens ;)

May the 20th 2013
Yesterday we had a birthday party to go to.
By the end of the celebrations Maddison was very sleepy. So sleepy
infact she fell asleep before we made it out of the car park. When we
arrived back I removed her from the car (still in her car seat) and put
her in the lounge. She remained asleep for another 2 hours :)
May the 26th 2013
Boo.....
I see you, seeing me.
I love this picture, Maddison spends a lot more time world facing now, So its nice to be able to see the front and the back of the Giggle at the same time.

June the 16th 2013
This is where our walk took us, Maddison fell asleep so didnt see this amazing view across the lake. We had her in the fully reclined position so that she could enjoy her slumber as comfortable as possible. As you can see from the wheels. Some areas were pretty muddy. But as the wheels dont have any tread the mud mostly came off by the time we were home. We just left the pushchair in the sun to dry the mud and by the time we put it away all the mud had fallen off.

July the 8th 2013
Please excuse my rubbish photography, but I'm hoping
you can see the ball and socket looking part of the pushchair. This is
the suspension. I've never really noticed if my previous pushchairs have
it, but as I'm reviewing this one, I'm trying to cover everything. It does
seem to make the journey more comfortable especially over rougher
terrain (which you would expect).
July the 9th 2013
Today we revisited Marsh Farm (last time we went was January, and there was snow on the ground). As you can see, this time was bright sunshine. The fields were dry which meant easier pushing. We were also able to take full advantage of the large hood. Maddison still wanted to wear her hat though :) In this picture the hood is just over half open. Once she was asleep we reclined the seat and opened the hood fully to ensure she was kept in the shade as much as possible.
July the 15th 2013
July the 17th 2013
Today was Alfie's sports day. It was a scorcher and no shade either. The heat wore Maddison out and she crashed out in her pushchair. We were parked on a farmers field. It was very uneven with long grass but it didn't bother her and she remained asleep.
July the 24th 2013
July the 30th 2013
we currently have ours on the middle height. Its great to
have the ability to change it through 3 levels. Means that little ones
comfortable can be adjusted with her growth :)

In order to do this we'll need to collect your chassis, carry out the important enhancement, and return it free of charge quick as a flash. Until we have done this please don't be concerned, continue to use it as you have done up to now, following everyday precautions."
We now await confirmation of collection date and will keep you up to date with its progress :)
