I am Kate and I live in Devon with my husband Kevin and our 3 children - Gemma - 7, Jacob - 5 and Max, who was born in May 2013. I am currently on maternity leave from my job as a special needs teaching assistant, and we enjoy walking, swimming, reading and exploring the great outdoors - be that the beach, the moors, the woods or the river! I also love taking photos of our adventures together, and when I get 5 minutes to myself I love blogging at FamilyFever watching films and listening to music.

Great excitement in our house with the delivery of the Easywalker Mini. 2 lovely big boxes all ready to be opened. .jpg)
Popping on the design pack is easy - just zip on the hood,
and thread the harness straps through the seat liner. **********************************
Once the Easywalker Mini was set up and ready to go, we couldn't wait to try it out. With the hood on the lowest setting there is still plenty of room for Max. He seems comofrtable in the seat, and happily sat in there for a walk around town to do some Christmas shopping. He seems quite cocooned in the pushchair - the sides of the seat are quite high so I imagine it feels quite secure and snug.
Max is so comfortable in the Easywalker, and will happily sit in it for a long period of time - today it doubled up as a highchair for Max to have his lunch while we were visitng a friends house. I like that the seat can sit very upright, so it is perfect as a temporary highchair if you are out and about.
With the weather having turned decidedly unpredictable, the Easywalker hood has come in really handy this week. It is HUGE and has managed to protect and shield Max from the glare of the winter sun one minute, then keep him dry in a stormy shower the next. It is plenty large enough to keep him dry in the few minutes it takes to find and attach the raincover.

It has been really cold this week, so we tried our own footmuff on the
Easywalker. The fact that the hood moves up and down makes it easy to
hook our Betty Bramble footmuff over the back of the seat, and it fits
very well. I imagine most footmuffs would fit - there are plenty of
places on both the seat and the frame where you could attach one.
We have issues with the Easywalker Mini raincover. It is a very tight fit, and with a footmuff on, there is no way it will stretch down over the base. To fit the raincover you also need to have the hood fully extended which does restrict Max's view. I am going out this weekend to try and purchase a raincover that will fit better - ideally with a zip opening as this is another feature the Easywalker raincover lacks.
