First Impressions
My first thoughts are its lovely and lightweight and
small it can be folded (or screwed up) and popped into my changing bag
or the basket of my pram when not in use.The
clasps at the back makes it easy to attach to any buggy or stoller, just
place the shade in place, pull and attach the clasps to each other.
I
like the idea of the viewing panel meaning I could check to see if
Harry has finally drifted off without unzipping and I'm hoping the sun
finally shines so we can open up the blind (sleep mode) and use as a sun
screen too.
Harry is poorly at the moment so
the timimg is perfect, I will be trying out on our Cosatto Giggle, Cosatto Yo! Quinny Yezz and our P&T's, I will also pop over Harry's
infant car seat to test the sizing.

Emmy and Harry have been poorly this week – plagued with a contagious virus
leaving them both feeling unwell and spotty too.
Our sleep pod has been a great help this week, nipping to the local shop
with a poorly child enclosed meant that they could get fresh air while hiding
away (the sight of a spotty child seems to panic people).
We used it over the Phil & Ted’s this week as I could have both
children in the buggy and pop out quickly. It is a good fit over the front
seat however having an older style P&T there is still a gapping space at the
back – this I just throw a blanket over to block out the light and it works
well.
As you can see from the pictures I didn’t bother to pull the shade all the
way down over the footmuff – this is because we were just popping out and they
weren’t going to sleep, just hiding.
April the 24th 2013
Another week of illness in our house, the children still aren’t better so
that means they also won’t sleep. Harry inparticular has refused to settle
in his cot all week making evenings hard work. I have taken to putting him
in the P&T with the pod over and rocking him to sleep in there and then
leaving him for an hour before moving him up to bed.
Having the shade on means he isn’t distracted by the lights of the TV when
settling to sleep in the buggy or by his toys around him.
Again due to the style of buggy I have taken to using a blanket over the
back until he is asleep then removing. It takes only around 5 minutes of
rocking him to sleep before he has happily drifted off as apposed to often 40
minutes without the pod over and he is nosey and likes to see all around
him.
The
sun has been shining brightly so teamed with the Cosatto Giggle and the
shade means Harry is nicely shielded, leaving the flap up means he can
see out and we aren't hiding away the bright buggy colours.

We went to a wedding down in Cornwall this week. With a lack of car
space we took the Cosatto Yo! Ahoy there and tucked the shade into the
basket incase it was needed.
After dinner,
Emmy fell asleep, it had been a very long day for her. I popped the
shade over her and she snoozed in the buggy for a few hours before I
woke her for a bit if dancing and bowling.

Another sunny week.
We needed the shade on a stroll down to the shops.
The
car broke down this week so we have had to walk everywhere. I've never
gotten on all that well with parasols as they always fall off so this
was a great solution and Harry was protected from the sun
A rainy day today and still having no car we had to walk the school run.

I've
the P&T for this purpose however I've no raincover so I had to use
the shade as a temporary shield from the drizzle - it wasn't great but
kept some of the rain off.
Luckily it wasn't pouring.
A new toy has come to live with us, the kiddy click n move3.
Its currently 7am, its freezing and Harry has been awake for 4 hours.
In desperation we are at the park having gone for a walk to get the monster to sleep.

We also have the kiddy evolution pro car seat now which attaches to the click n move3 frame.
The
shade is an ok fit over the car seat, not perfect but usable and only
when the car seat is in the sitting position not when reclined.
Overall I really like this product. It's versatile and fits all buggies.
