Hiya I'm Anna, I'm 31 and live in Devon with my husband Ian and our 13 month old twins Toby and Chloe. I am a stay at home mummy two my two cheeky little ones. During the week while daddy is at working we go out for walks, take trips to the play areas and visit our new favorite place, the zoo! On the weekends we get jobs done and go all over the county watching daddy run races, this normally involves traipsing across muddy fields to get the best view! I'm looking forward to testing out the Britax B-AGILE Double and seeing how well it fits in with our crazy life!

First Impressions
Oh, the excitement as the van pulled up outside the house! Out jumped the man and into the back he delved. He pulled out a manageable box with the words Britax B-Agile Double written on the side…I doubted it to be honest, how can you fit a double pram in a box that size?! I politely but quickly signed for the delivery and carried the box inside. I'm not sure who was more excited to get into the box, me or the babies?! Banging impatiently on the side (the babies not me, I promise!) while I grabbed the camera, I took a couple photos and then began to open the box.
The pushchair was fully made except for the wheels and the canopies. I had a quick look at the instructions just to make sure that I wasn't doing it wrong, I do have double the baby brain after all! The wheels slid on and clicked into position. The canopies clipped on and the velcro attached with ease to the back of the seats, perfect! I love the look of the pram, it folds so easily, it's so small and is really quite light for a double. All I need now is for it to stop raining (even though we have a rain cover in the big basket underneath) and we can get outside and test it out properly!
Yay, we finally got to use the pram! I have to say I love it! I easily pulled the pram out from the boot of my car and it opened quickly and clicked into position! The twins were really comfy sat in their seats; with the cosytoes on they were lovely and snuggly. I had parked at the bottom of a hill and didn't cherish pushing my two growing lumps up it, however the pram is so light it was a breeze and we flew up it! After a spin around the shops the babies fell asleep as we were walking back to the car! Always the way!

Daddy took the babies out with Nana on the weekend and he loved the pushchair! They went to a little coffee shop that people with a single pushchair struggle to get around, and you know what? He didn't bang into anyone's ankles! He loved the way it handled and the fact that the handle had the Y shape so he could steer it one handed ‘like a man'! Thumbs up from daddy!
December the 23rd 2012
On a Monday we go to a group called Active tots. It's not far from my sister's house, so we always walk from there. The group is held in a little building next to a big (at the moment) building site. With the Britax B-AGILE Double the wheels are solid so pushing through the rubble and mud is not a problem because you know that you're not going to come out the other side with a flat tire!
The dreaded Christmas shop has been done for another year! We forgot to leave the Britax B-AGILE Double at home to make more space in the boot of our car. Luckily the buggy is so small we were able to get all of our food and drink into the boot around the buggy with no problem! The next challenge will be getting all of the Christmas presents into the boot, this time though we will leave the buggy in there!
January the 2nd 2013We hit the sales this week! Going into a shop with a double pram is a trial at the best of times but during the sales I did wonder if we were mad! Luckily, for us the shops were quiet and the Britax B-Agile Double is small! We whizzed around the shops picking up bargains and the odd granny smile with no problems. This pram is brilliant!
This pram looks really comfy and I am sure that it is. More often than not the twins fall asleep while we're out and about. There is lots of space around them so they can have a little wiggle while relaxing! The cozy toes are really warm and nicely padded, I wish I was small enough to get in there and snuggle with them!
January the 13th 2013
I have decided to get out and get fit, that means that Ian needs to run along with the pushchair beside me. He was impressed with the way it handled while going at a gentle trot; it was nice, stable and didn't feel like it was going to tip at any point which is brilliant! He did say that the Y shaped part of the handle is really helpful but could do with being padded as when you are using it for a while your hand gets sore. The twins once again seemed really comfortable being pushed along at a speed faster than normal, the lumps and bumps in the pavements went by un-noticed!
We went to our first race of the year today, the seats sit up just the right amount so that the twins could watch daddy run by without having to strain their necks! It was a lovely day but as it had been wet recently it was really muddy! I didn't find the pushchair too difficult to get through the mud and leaves, it was a little heavy but I think that's more down to my two than the pushchair! One downside is when you fold the pushchair, the pockets that hang down behind the seats go onto the floor and also the wheels, which today were really muddy, so now the underside of the pockets are muddy and will need a clean.
January the 24th 2013This week we got caught in an awful rain shower! It was sunny one minute and bucketing it down the next. Quick as a flash I whipped out the rain cover and put it over the buggy. Then I began attaching all of the bits together to stop it from flying off. Well let me tell you, in the pouring rain this is no easy task. The Velcro strips are very narrow so there is no option but to get them in the right place which is very tricky when you're getting drenched yourself and have cold hands. You also need to unzip the hoods so they come fully forward for the cover to fit properly. I did this once the cover was over the buggy because otherwise the rain would have gone through the mess section of the hood and the twins would have also gotten wet. Wider Velcro would be incredibly helpful on the rain cover, or zips would be even better!
Have I mentioned the bit I love about this buggy yet? You know when you park your buggy up and get it as tight into a corner or against a wall as much as you can so it's out of the way? Then you remember that you left something under the buggy and you have to pull the buggy out, get what you had left behind and push it back in again.Well with the Britax B-Agile Double you don't need to worry because under the front seats where your little ones legs hang is a handy zip section, you unzip this part and have access to the under seat storage! It's perfect and I have used it so many times, sometimes only to show people how cool it is!
We went to a place called Living Coasts last weekend. It's main attraction is penguins. We had a lovely time walking around seeing the penguins but the best bit was watching them dive around in the water through an underwater viewing area. The twins were able to sit in the pram and watch the penguins fly all over the place, we unclipped the shoulder straps while we were watching so they could lean forward and watch too. This was very easy for us to do as they clip over the buckle. It's not easy for a child to do so no need to worry they will escape!
February the 10th 2013
Toby has started walking now, although it's not too far. We went to the zoo at the weekend and Toby had a great time walking, Chloe isn't there yet so she sat in the buggy and watched! I was glad to see that the buggy was still easy to push and the lack of weight on one side didn't cause a problem, it's so easy to steer I really enjoy pushing it!
I drive a VW Touran and the boot is big, however we always have lots of stuff in the boot as well as the buggy. When we go shopping the boot gets full to bursting. The buggy is so small that we can fit all of the shopping in comfortably.February the 15th 2013
I've been having some problems with the cosy toes. They are very slippery so when it comes to putting the twins into the seats it seems that the straps are really short and to start with I was keeping the straps at their longest setting but this wasn't practical now that they want to lean forward and look around! So every time I go to put them into the seats I have to pull the cosy toes up at the top so that the strap holes are in line with the top of the straps. They do slip down again as the babies slump mind you but it's not s bad now we've worked it out. A non slip bottom on the cosy toes would be handy!
Febraury the 19th 2013
My doctors surgery has some pretty narrow doorways due to it being in an old building. The buggy can fit through the majority of them just fine. This is handy because it means that I can actually go out on my own with the twins and not need an extra pair of hands to help hold someone! I think all doubles have the problem of not fitting everywhere but it's nice to know that we can still fit into some places, even if we do take a little paint off the frame on our way!
February the 22nd 2013
I like to pull the hood down over the twins when they are going to have a nap when we are out and about, they fall asleep quicker with no distractions! The hoods on the buggy are fairly short and to pull them further forward you need to unzip it to use the extra section. This unfortunately is a mesh section so it is like having a sunroof in the car and the twins are able to look through the mesh and see what is going on around them. This means that unless I put a blanket or coat over the mesh section I have two babies who are happy to lie back and watch the world go by without having a nap! Sometimes however a run around the zoo means that they are so tired they can't even keep their eyes open long enough to see what's going by!

I still love taking the pushchair out of the boot!
It is so easy to undo and open, Ian seems to make harder work of it but
that could be because I've not shown him how to do it easily. Folding
it and putting it away is also just as easy and I can imagine when the
weather is warm enough to not need the cosy toes it will be even
easier! I love that it folds in half so it takes up half of our boot
space unlike our old twin buggy that took up the whole space! I can
pile everything that is in the boot to one side and not need to put
anything on the floor when taking it out and putting it in, so handy
when it is raining!
March the 10th 2013
We went shopping a few days ago and while stood at the checkout an elderly gentleman squeezed past us with his trolley and gave a little tut! I smiled sweetly and appologised for getting in his way (which I might add, I was wasn't I could have fitted another Britax B Agile double past us!). He grumbled under his breath and then looked down and did a little gasp! "Oh" he said, "Sorry I didn't realize you had a double pushchair I thought I was just a big one!" Goes to show that even though it's a double it isn't huge.
March the 26th 2013
We have had the pram for a little over three months
now and I am loving it. It is light and folds so nicely. It is
compact and fits so well in the boot of the car. I'm sad that the
review will have to come to an end.
A friend took the twins out for the afternoon. She was nervous about pushing a double pram because she has only ever dealt with a single. She was pleasantly surprised and raved about how light it was! ‘It was so nice to push; you forget it's a double!'
I
really like the fact that the pram has hard tires. I don't need to
worry about getting a puncture or the wheels needing to be pumped up.
We've
had lots of heavy rain recently. I'm pleased to report that even
though the wind has been blowing as hard as it can the rain cover has
stayed put and the twins have stayed nice and dry!
I am looking forward to trying the pram out without the cosy toes! They keep the twins lovely and warm but Toby has started to push his feet up and out to try and get it off! I think he is as desperate for the warm weather as we all are so he can get his legs out!
Well I am sad to report that the rain cover has a couple of splits in it where the front connects to the bottom frame of the pram. It is a bit tight and tricky to get on because the Velcro strip is thin so you have to get it wrapped correctly. It's not easy to do in the driving rain and I guess I have pulled too hard at one point in my rush to cover the babies and protect them from the rain.
April the 10th 2013
It has started to warm up, not enough to remove the cosy toes yet but enough to have the twins put their legs out over the top for the majority of the time! Chloe has learnt how to unzip the cosy toes by pushing her feet on the upper inside so I now fold it down and use the toggles to keep it in place, it's a very handy feature!
I had to grab a little bit of shopping the other day and instead of trying to find a double trolley, which is like finding a needle in a haystack, I decided to push the twins in their pushchair and carry the shopping I needed in my hand. In a normal pushchair this would end in disaster with an o.a.p stuck under the front wheels and the odd display disemboweled! This is not the case with the Britax B-Agile Double! I know I've said it before but I will say it again….this pushchair steers so well one handed and it is all because of the little Y shape in the middle of the handle, it enables you to have complete control. Now grannies we harmed on our shopping trip!
April the 14th 2013
We took Nana out for lunch today as an early birthday treat for her. She has had a hip operation and sometimes finds walking difficult. She decided to push the pushchair for a little bit and she was impressed! "It didn't feel like pushing a big heavy double at all!"
We've been on holiday! Last week we went to
Stafford and then down to Stratford upon Avon. It was lovely to get
away and even nicer to fit everything into the boot of our car with the
pram and still be able to see out of the back! Quite impressive with
twins and a mummy who doesn't know how to pack lightly! This pram really
is small; it folds down very flat and would fit comfortably in most
boots.
We
went for a walk along the canal while we were in Stratford upon Avon,
some parts were really rough and bumpy. Pushing the pram was easy, it
didn't get stuck and the twins didn't look like they were bouncing all
over the place! In actual fact Toby fell asleep so it must have been
comfortable!
Daddy did a marathon while we were away, we had a few hours to kill while he was running, we watched the canal boats go through the lock, Chloe wasn't too impressed because she actually wanted to be out running around! Then while we waited at the finish the twins found a new use for the pram when they aren't in it. They sat on the foot rests and had a relax in between running everywhere!

May the 19th 2013
We've been to another race to watch Daddy run, this one was in Somerset. We pulled up to park and were shown into a field…I kid you not the grass was half way over the wheels of the car! This was going to be a very good test for the buggy as both children were asleep in the back and I didn't fancy them walking through the grass in case they disappeared! Once we had loaded the buggy up I stood back and let Ian pull it through the grass, no buggy would have got through going forwards that's for sure! Ian complained about it being really hard to pull and how it was dragging…So I told him to take the break off and it may be easier!!! Doh! With the break off there was no stopping him and he was out of the field without a problem! I took the photo on the way back in the field and the grass had been squashed a fair bit by the cars so going forwards was easy!
Also, I had to borrow my mum's car recently, it is a VW Golf and I was worried that I wouldn't fit the buggy in the boot. I had nothing to worry about though as it fitted perfectly! Phew!
I have been out walking a lot while the weather has been sunny and I can't fault the way this pushchair is to push, even with Toby and Chloe getting bigger every day it still feels light to push! It would be good if the seats could sit a little more upright as at their fully sat up position Toby and Chloe end up slouching in their seats. I think I will get a liner to make it a little comfier now that we have taken out the cosy toes!
Toby and Chloe love being out and about in the fresh air, we went to a place on Dartmoor called Dartmeet recently and had a walk along the river. It is a fairly bumpy path but the britax handled it with no problems.
June the 11th 2013
We have had a bug riddled house the past week and haven't been able to use the pushchair. However it did get tested to the max at the start of this bug. We had been out for a walk and visiting grandparents. On our way home Chloe was violently sick, it went everywhere and covered the pushchair from top to bottom! Once we had sorted Chloe I had the unenviable task of cleaning it! I am really impressed with how it came out, I had to use the scrubbing brush to get into the nocks and crannies but it has cleaned up really well and you wouldn't know that it had been pebble dashed to within an inch of its life! Well done Britax!
Over the past 8 months I have been using the Britax B-Agile Double to transport my rapidly growing twins. I wasn't sure it was going to be better than the pushchair I already had, well let me tell you that I doubt that the ‘other' pushchair will be used by me again! I really love this pushchair. I has been lovely to use and I am so glad I was picked to review it!
I love this pushchair! I have only one problem with it, the seats seem to be set at a bit of a funny angle, when sat as upright as the seats will go the children slouch and look pretty uncomfortable, if it were able to sit a bit more upright then that wouldn't be a problem, as it is the children always seem to be sat a little uncomfortably. I do however love everything else about it! The handle lifts up high enough of me to push it comfortably as I have a bad back and bending isn't fun. It is easy to maneuver and pushing with one hand is a breeze. I don't worry about the tires bursting because they are solid. There are two massive pockets in the back of each seat which is brilliant to store everything! I love being able to get into the basket from the front of the pushchair, I use that feature every time I use the pushchair. Folding the pushchair is so quick and easy and lifting it into the boot is easy as it is fairly light for a double. I have really enjoyed reviewing this pushchair, it's not one I would have considered but I am so glad it came into our lives because its fab!
