Hi, my name is Ann-Marie, I’m 26 and I live in a beautiful seaside town on the east coast. I live with my partner of 8 years Gary and our amazing, gorgeous daughter Isabel, who was born in September.
I am currently on maternity leave until June and enjoy taking my little girl for walks, to grandparents and meeting other parents at baby groups. At weekends we make the most of our family time and enjoy long walks on the beach, going to the park and to our local swimming pool. I think Gary would love Isabel to take after him and swim like a fish!
I am really looking forward to taking the Cosatto Yo! for a spin and seeing what this stroller is capable of; especially due to our active lifestyle I’m sure we will be able to give it a thorough testing!

First Impressions

After tipping out the contents, I found the instruction booklet; which was very easy to understand. The stroller was protected by bits of cardboard so that it wouldn’t get scratched or bumped on its way to us.
Within the box there was; the pushchair, four wheels, changing mat, matching changing bag, cosy toes, rain cover (in a matching little bag) and a plastic zip bag.
I had all four wheels in place in a matter of seconds! That was it ready to rock and roll.
Isabel was intrigued at what I was doing with this colourful pushchair in our front room. Once it was ready to use, Isabel had a little test; I sat her in it and the first thing she did was touch the spots on the inside of the stroller. I think she liked it.
I love the way this stroller looks, it is very pretty and I love the fact the changing bag matches the cosy toes.
Chief tester Isabel at the ready!! We can’t wait for our first trip out and about with this fabulous looking stroller.

Unfortunately she had to stop half way to put on the rain cover as it started to snow. She said it was very easy to get out of its holder; also that it was straightforward to put on.
The rain cover is simple to put on; it has Velcro at the back to hold it on and a press-stud at either side of the front of the pushchair; which you push through the two hooks to hold it down.
My mum said the only thing she did not like about it was with it being really windy she felt she needed to keep hold of it tighter. As she was worried it would blow over.

Took the yo! For its first trip to the beach today. My mum, my nephew
Isabel and myself, went for a lovely lunch at a great cafe on the
seafront; Harry was desperate to get on the beach as soon as he had
finished his food. I wasn't sure how the yo! would cope. As we had quite
high tides and it had brought lots of stones and pebbles on to the
beach.
First struggle was to get down the cobbles to the sand; it was very
bumpy I'm not sure Isabel was too keen on this. I don't think it was
the yo's fault I think it's just the fact that the cobbles have big gaps
between them.
Once onto the beach we managed to get past the pebbles and on to the
very wet sand. At this point Harry ran towards the large rock pool left
by the sea going out. My mum ran after him leaving us to follow; which
was fine till I stopped to get something out of the changing bag. The
front wheels then got stuck and I couldn't move! Eventually after moving
backwards and forwards for a while I managed to manoeuvre it to the
sand that wasn't so wet. I have never known the beach to have sinking
sand. Ooppppsss
Once on the dryer sand the yo! pushed really well while on the sand, it was
easy to push. A little bumpy on the pebbles within the sand but this
didn't seem to bother Isabel, who by this time had fallen asleep.
Hopefully our next trip the beach won't be so eventful.

Took the yo! For another trip to the mother and baby group today.
It was a little cold today, but Isabel didn't mind as she was lovely and
warm with the cosy toes and the rain cover on to stop the wind.
Sometimes the yo! Seems to move to one side as your pushing it; which
makes it a little tricky to push with one hand. Today I noticed the
front wheels seem to click when you go over the bumps on the path, I
found it a little annoying fingers crossed I don't notice it each time I
push Isabel.

The Yo! Goes on holiday! We are going on our first family
holiday; we are only going for a couple of days to the lake district.
When packing the car the Yo! Fits nicely at the back of our boot
followed by an enormous amount of baby things for Isabel! The boot was
packed full!
This is a little photo of the Yo! In our hotel room, Isabel is chilling
out after our 3 hour drive to get here! She loves the comfy and soft
cosy toes.

We are celebrating Isabel's daddy's birthday today. We are
still on holiday and are off exploring the lakes and the Cosatto Yo! is coming
along for the ride. This is daddy and Isabel having a look at lake
windamere. This is the first time daddy has got to grips with the yo! He
was very impressed with the spacious basket underneath. He found the
pushchair was tricky to push with one hand, and seemed to go where it
wanted. As her daddy is a lot taller than me, we both are able to push
the yo with ease, even though the handles do not adjust.
We had to stop for lunch, unfortunately there was no high chair, this was
not a problem as Isabel was happy enough to sit in the Yo and eat her
messy lunch! Amazingly there were no spills this time; I'm sure some
time in the near future the cosy toes will need a clean. We will put it
to the test and see how it copes in the wash.
After lunch we had a little walk, and as usual Isabel fell asleep, this
must b the comfiest pushchair as she always falls asleep on our travels!
Poor Isabel missed the ducks; but the ducks seemed fascinated by the
yo! And followed us across the path!
Overall daddy was very pleased with how the Yo handled on our trip, he
thought the Yo's basket was spacious but once Isabel was asleep this
caused problems as it was a pain to get things out of the basket!
I thought I would give you a little review of the changing bag. We are off out for the day today so I needed to pack lots of things. Here is a list of what I need to get in the bag: two bottles in there warmer bags, water bottle. 4 nappies, wipes, changing mat, 4 bibs, change of clothes, a banana, bowl, spoon, fork knife and 2 jars of food.

Daddy took Isabel out to the park today; hehad the choice of the yo or our other pram as they were both in the hallway. I was shocked he choose the yo! As he normally just uses the old pram as the handles move up and down (Isabel's daddy is nearly 6ft unlike me at 5ft 2).

We decided to make the most of the sun today; we walked Isabel’s daddy to work. (he works on the sea front) We went down to the beach and for a little walk along the sand unfortunately it’s still the horrible sinking, dry and stoney sand at the moment. So it was a little tricky to push in places, I gave daddy the job to push. He said it was easy to push on the normal sand, just a little bit hard when he got to the sinking sand and the very stoney bits.
When we got to the hill, Gary had to pull the pushchair over all the stones backwards. I don’t think this was the pushchairs fault, just the silly tides that have moved all the sand and replaced them with stones. Ha ha.
I gave the wheels a little wipe when I got home as I didn’t want the sand to cause any problems with them.

Wow we have been blessed with another beautiful day, so again I thought we would get out and about in the sunshine (just a shame there was more wind today.) This time we didn’t go onto the beach we just had a stroll across the promenade. I still think about how easy this stroller is to push; even with one hand. I think this is due to having them on the swivel rather than them being locked in the forward position. Along the promenade we stopped at daddy’s shop to see him, and we pinched one of his hats for Isabel. Just a shame it wasn’t red to go with the Go lightly.
I took so photos of the go lightly with some of the famous things on our sea front.

We went to Middlesbrough again for hospital appointment. This time we nipped into town to do a little bit of shopping (primark) my cousin took us into the centre, (as I'm a whimp and won't drive in places I don't know) she only has a small car and I was slightly worried the pushchair wouldn't fit as it only just fits length ways in my focus. Unfortunately we had to take the parcel shelf out, but it still fitted. I was very impressed. As her car is a Clio, and we even managed to fit the bags next to it.

Isabel and I went to the shops for a few bits and bobs and
thought I would take the yo. It was easy to push around the store while
holding a basket for our food.
I was only meant to be getting a few bits, but managed to fill the
basket!! I was worried I wouldn't fit it all in the pushchair basket. We
ended up with 3 carrier bags of shopping opppsss.
I managed to fit two bags in the basket, but had to put one on the back
of pushchair. I was very worried this would tip the pushchair. It was
fine when pushing it on the flat surface it was trickier up and down the
kerbs I kept tight hold.
To make matters worse Isabel got grumpy and needed a sleep, once laid
down with the shopping in, the seat didn't go as flat as normal.
May the 14th 2013
I keeping talking about Isabel falling asleep in the Yo, I
thought I would show you the back of the seat and how easy it is to lay
it down. I have managed to lay her down using one hand as it has a
simple clip, that u undo and pull down to the position your baby is
comfy in. Once at the position you need, push the clip up and it stays
there.
This system is the easier than the two sided handles that both need to be pulled at the same time.

Isabel myself, her two cousins and her Nanna walked up to school to pick up her eldest cousin from school. I pushed the yo! And her Nanna pushed the two others (in a Cosatto double buggy)

We thought it was about time we took the cosy toes off the Yo! The seat liner has a fleece side for winter and a spotty patterned side for summer. As Isabel ate biscuits in it the other day (and mushed it on the black and white striped bit) I thought it was time to wash the top part (photos to follow another time).jpg)
I needn't of worried, nothing had ran. Even the colour catcher came out
the way it went in. With it being sunny today they dried in no time.

Today was my last day of maternity leave we spent the day with the family at alton towers. It was so hot today, I had to put an extra sun shade over the top of the Yo!, as it was too hot and Isabel didn't like the sun in her eyes. Normally we don't need the sun shade, but with it being got I didn't want isabel to get burnt!.jpg)

July the 28th 2013
I've been using the changing bag most of time, whether I've taking Isabel out in her sit in trike, her big pram or the yo! I thought it was about time I gave it a wash. I always wipe out the inside if I've had any spillages. I was hoping that I would be able to throw it in the washing machine. Unfortunately the label said hand wash. As I've come to wash it, I've noticed that there has been wear and tear near the handle. I'm sure a little sewing will sort it out.......
July the 29th 2013
Gave the bag a little wipe down with a wet cloth. It seems OK, would be better if it could go in the washing machine.
July the 31st 2013
I took Isabel and her cousins to the circus with their nana. We took the Yo! for her to sit in, as we were ring side she could stay in it while watching it. She loved looking at the characters dressed up.
We went with some friends to see the scarecrow festival in a local village. Isabel loved it, I took the Yo! as I knew it would be very busy and the Yo! isn't wide. As we walked round we were able to get two pushchairs side by side on the footpath. We took a few photos of Isabel with the scarecrows - she seemed to like them, especially the Gruffalo.
August the 3rd 2013
As Isabel's daddy is working really hard at the moment we thought we would make the most of his day off, we spent the day on the beach. Only problem being we had so much to carry! We managed to prop the beach mat, parasol, lunch bag and some other bits and bobs underneath in the basket. The basket holds a decent amount of 'stuff' even with the other bits resting in the back didn't make the pushchair feel heavy and it was still easy to steer. Unfortunately the tides have been slack so the sand was very dry and we had to lift the pushchair over the sand to the perfect spot.
Well this has been my final post for the Yo!, I can't believe how fast
this last 6 months have gone! It doesn't seem 2 mins since the pushchair
arrived.
I have been amazed by the quality of this stroller, it comes with
everything you need - head hugger, cosy toes, raincover and changing bag, I
think it is very good value for money. It is very easy to use, has
lockable swivel wheels, a large hood to keep the sun out, looks
stunning when you're out and about and folds up very small with an auto
lock. It says it's suitable for newborn, but I'm not sure I would of put Isabel
in it as so was sooooo tiny. It has become more and more useful as
Isabel has got older.
